Ways to help
as a young person / school

Every year, we are amazed by the enthusiasm, generosity and creativity of our younger supporters who give their time as individuals or with schools to raise money for children who are disadvantaged

Many of the children KidsOut support have never experienced what most children take for granted, like a trip to the cinema or a paddle in the sea; they may never have owned a new toy or book, or even had a present to open on their birthday or at Christmas.

But you can help give a child WHO HAS nothing, a reason to smile.

Here are some ways to help

Fundraising for KidsOut

Why not fundraise either as an individual or with your school?

Why not fundraise either as an individual or with your school? From dance-athons, to bake sales, from washing cars, to wear-your-pyjamas-to-school days, raising money to help some of the UK’s most vulnerable children can be a lot of fun – especially if you get friends involved too.

As a School

Choose KidsOut as your Charity of Choice

Join schools who are coming together to make a difference to the lives of those who need it most. Through various fundraising activities such as wear-your-pyjamas-to-school days and Fancy-Dress Fridays, walkathons, and talent shows, students and teachers are joining forces to help some of the UK’s most forgotten children.

By choosing KidsOut as your school’s Charity of Choice, pupils learn that compassion and generosity can create a ripple effect of change in the world. By simply fundraising, they can help provide those who have nothing with the resources they need to thrive and succeed despite their challenging circumstances, as well as instilling values of kindness in the next generation.

Fundraising Ideas

Put the FUN into fundraising and make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children

You could ask your school to make KidsOut their charity of choice.

Or why not buy a toy, or book, or a Fun Day Out for a child from our online shop.

You or your school can donate old tech for refurbishing for disadvantaged children.

Or why not hold a Teddy Bears Picnic where everyone contributes to the gift of a Fun Day Out for a child in a refuge.

Download our FUNdraising Pack now and start to make a difference to the lives of some of the UK’s most vulnerable children.
