KidsOut have been given the fantastic opportunity to provide 250 places for The Maths Factor, free for a year, to children living in refuge

The Maths Factor is a fun and engaging online maths tutoring site for 4-12 year olds that seeks to unlock every child’s confidence in maths.

Set up initially in 2010 by Carol Vorderman, numbers whizz and former Countdown star, the site is run by Carol (known as Auntie Carol to the kids!) and a dedicated team at Pearson – the world’s learning company.

The content is in line with the national curriculum in England and the site is designed to bring families together. Not only do children build their confidence and love of numbers, parents and carers get to learn and grow too accessing helpful advice and tips!

90% of parents have seen an improvement in their child’s confidence within just three months of using The Maths Factor and during the first national lockdown alone, the site supported half a million children.

KidsOut is thrilled to be working with Pearson and The Maths Factor team, to provide educational resources to children living in refuge.
