Lion King a roaring success!

On Thursday 10th February, KidsOut were delighted to be able to offer 9 women’s refuges from across London the opportunity to see The Lion King at Lyceum Theatre, London as part of our Fun Days service!

KidsOut received some lovely feedback from attendees that show how cherished these opportunities are for building memories and restoring family bonds – highlighting how Fun Days help to improve disadvantaged children’s confidence, motivation, resilience and social skills.

“This trip will probably be a lifelong memory for the three of us. The theatre was so grand, and the performance was breath taking. All the cast were incredibly talented, and the costumes were engineered brilliantly. We loved all the songs so much we have been watching performances from London and New York on Youtube!” – Refuge mum

“It was my daughter’s 12th birthday, and it was a great treat that I could not have  provided. We had a great time, and it made the day extra special. She loved it – as did I!” – Refuge mum

“Thank you so much for this – it was so special for us to be together doing something magical and uplifting” – Refuge mum

KidsOut would like to thank Disney for once again for providing tickets to the show, it was truly appreciated by everyone in attendance!
