Our wonderful partner, the Premier League club, Newcastle United, invited 30 children and their carers to their grounds at St James’ Park in August for a special tour of the stadium. As guests of honour the children were able to take part in a mix of sports activities as well as personally meet and talk to the club’s midfielder, Miguel Almiron.
One parent told us, “I would like to say a huge thank you for the opportunity today. It was absolutely fantastic. It was organised to perfection and the ultimate surprise was meeting a player as we were waiting to be picked up. It was a dream come true for my son.”
We would like to thank Newcastle United for supporting the KidsOut project to improve children’s mental wellbeing by providing positive experiences, including sport and physical activities.
