This Diwali, KidsOut continued its longstanding partnership with the Diwali Basket Brigade to bring light and joy to families in need. We delivered 275 food hampers filled with treats and essentials to refuges across Birmingham, helping families celebrate the Festival of Lights during challenging times.

Now in its eighth year, this partnership has become a cherished tradition, spreading warmth and happiness to families who might otherwise miss out on the joys of the festival.
Deepak explained “Diwali is a time of celebration and happiness. But unfortunately, there are many families in our local communities who have little to cheer about, who struggle to make ends meet and feel rejected. Diwali Basket Brigade is our small effort to support and spread the message of Diwali – the message of hope, happiness and giving”
