KidsOut’s first ever North-East Question of Sport Gala Dinner was a great success, raising over £50,000 for the charity’s work with disadvantaged children throughout the North-East. Over 350 people from North-East-based companies joined KidsOut at The Stadium of Light for a night of fun and fundraising on Thursday 20th October 2022.

KidsOut were thrilled to welcome presenter Jed Stone as evening host and auctioneer for the North-East Gala Dinner. There were more special guests in attendance, including Kevin Keegan as the quizmaster for the evening.
In addition to the main quiz, guests could take part in two auctions. There were some fantastic items up for grabs in the silent auction and main auctions, including a mascot place at the Sunderland FC VS Huddersfield game, Harry Styles hospitality tickets, signed Anthony Joshua boxing glove, dinner for 2 at Gino D’Acampo’s restaurant with an overnight stay, luxury artwork by Rob Bishop, 60 minute flying lesson, and a Jurgen Klopp signed picture and street sign. Perhaps the most exclusive item on sale was tickets to go and see the one and only Rod Stewart!
North-East Committee
KidsOut would like to say a huge thank you to the Gala’s North-East committee, as this event would not have been possible without their help and support. The money raised at this event will be used as vital funds to continue to supply Fun Days and Toy Boxes to disadvantaged children throughout the North-East, helping KidsOut bring fun and happiness to disadvantaged children who need it most.
