Aston Villa FC plays host to KidsOut Event

Supporters packed the amazing Premier League, Aston Villa Football Club stadium in September when it played host to an event that raised an incredible £43,000 for the charity.

Football legend, Kevin Keegan, a much-loved supporter of KidsOut, was on hand throughout the evening and generously gave his time to speak to guests. The evening was compared by the great, PJ Ellis.

The KidsOut Question of Sport Quizzes have become a must-attend event on calendars across the UK. The Aston Villa quiz was no exception with 330 KidsOut supporters.

All attendees received one of the charity’s famous Giving Tree tags that contain the name of a child in refuge and a toy that they would most love to receive from Father Christmas. A QR code on the tag links the holder to the charity’s Fun & Happiness Shop where toys can be bought that will be delivered directly to local refuges.

We would like to thank everyone involved who made the evening such a success. The income raised will put help us deliver important wellbeing experiences to children who have been affected by domestic abuse.
