Following a rigorous recruitment process, KidsOut is delighted to announce that Sara Williams is to become the permanent CEO of the charity.

Sara’s connection with KidsOut started back in 2006, when she initially worked on the charity’s Birmingham fundraising committee. She later went on to chair that committee – a role she continues to perform to this day – before being appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2020. During that time, Sara forged close connections with the charity’s operational and fundraising arms, building a deep understanding of all aspects of the charity’s work.

In July 2023, Sara became interim CEO while the Board of Trustees engaged a leading external recruitment company to find a permanent successor. From what was a very robust and competitive field of candidates, Sara’s strong performance during her tenure as interim CEO allied with her extensive experience as a successful business leader proved to be a compelling combination.

The Board of Trustees is delighted that Sara will now have an opportunity to build on her significant achievements to date and wishes her every success in her new role.
