The KidsOut Leeds Question of Sport event, held on the 26th of March at Elland Road, was nothing short of spectacular — and record-breaking! With over 850 guests, this was the largest Leeds event in KidsOut history and raised an incredible £123,083 to support disadvantaged children across the UK.
Hosted by the ever-entertaining Rich Williams with infectious energy and our brilliant Quiz Masters by football legends Jermaine Beckford and David Prutton, the evening delivered unforgettable fun, fierce quiz competition, and moving insights into the impact of KidsOut’s work.
This year’s success was powered by the amazing support of our headline sponsor, Sirius Group, whose generosity and enthusiasm were key in making the evening a triumph. Huge thanks also go to Alconex, LSL Land and New Homes, and East Coast Construction & Regeneration for their valued support and commitment to helping vulnerable children.
A particular highlight of the evening was the powerful video from St Joseph’s School, showcasing the impact KidsOut has had on the children they support. The audience was visibly moved by the difference we’ve made together — and we are proud to announce that this year, thanks to funds raised from events like this, KidsOut is installing our 24th Sensory Unit at St Joseph’s, Huddersfield.
Special Shoutout: Jermaine Beckford — Going the Extra Mile
As if hosting the night wasn’t enough, Jermaine Beckford has now signed up for not one but two epic KidsOut sporting challenges: the Yorkshire Three Peaks and Mount Kilimanjaro! Fancy joining Jermaine on these inspiring adventures while raising vital funds for vulnerable children?

With your support, we are one step closer to a world where every child has the opportunity to laugh, play, and just be a child.
