A message from KidsOut Trustee, Ian Child
“We are delighted to share an exciting new milestone in the development of our charity.
As part of a significant phase of growth and expansion, we have strengthened our leadership team and Board with the appointment of a new Chief Executive and four new Trustees.

This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the charity as we continue to grow our work supporting children and young people affected by domestic abuse and living in more than 600 women’s refuges across the UK.
These appointments reflect both the progress we have made and the ambition we have for the future.
Our new Chief Executive, Catherine Kirk, and Trustees, Steven Bird, Olayemi Karim, and Tom Reading, bring a wealth of experience, fresh perspective and deep commitment to our mission. Their leadership will help guide the charity through the next exciting phases of development, building on our strong foundations, expanding our reach and deepening our impact.
“We are delighted and excited about Catherine joining us. The depth of her skills, along with those of our new Trustees, will provide us with the experience we need to deliver positive change for children affected by domestic abuse.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who continues to support our work.”
