2,600 Toys Donated to Children in Refuge – Thank You, Gulliver’s!

We are incredibly grateful to share the amazing success of this year’s toy bank weekend in partnership with Gulliver’s Fun, with an outstanding total of more than 2,600 toys donated across four sites.
A special thank you to the fantastic site managers and the amazing efforts of the teams across the parks, from over 170 toys donated at Matlock led by Hannah Marsden & Team, to more than 330 at Rotherham with Phil Bracegirdle & Team, over 770 at Milton Keynes thanks to Lee Petchey & Team, and an incredible 1,330+ toys collected at Warrington by Craig Clews & Team, every donation will help bring comfort, joy, and smiles to children who need it most.
These donations will make a meaningful difference to thousands of children and young people who have been affected by domestic abuse and are rebuilding their lives in refuge. For many children, receiving a toy is about so much more than a toy, it provides comfort, joy, hope, and a reminder that they are cared for during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
Sandra Doherty, Head of Children’s Services at KidsOut, shared her thanks following the success of the campaign:
“We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Gulliver’s Fun and their dedicated teams for the incredible support shown through the toy drive. We are also hugely grateful to every member of the public whose generosity helped ensure children living in refuge receive toys at a time when they need comfort and joy the most. Support like this truly makes a lasting difference.”
Together, we are helping to create happier memories, brighter futures, and reminding children and young people that they are not alone.
