KidsOut’s 2022 Golf Classic at Essendon was a huge success, raising over £12000 for the charity’s work in supporting disadvantaged children!
Taking place at the beautiful Essendon Country Club near Hatfield on Tuesday 14th June it was attended by a full house of 23 teams
Over 90 guests from local and national businesses and professions participated and were treated to an action packed 18 holes of golf together with fun competitions such as a “Beat the Pro” competition, hosted by professional golfer Prianka Parmar. The winners of the Golf Classic were the team from Fusion Students hosted by Warren Rosenberg with an incredible score of 96 which won them the coveted trophy on a count back. Gary Skovron had a magnificent score of 44 points to take the Individual prize
The day provided a great setting to spend time with colleagues, potential clients, and social acquaintances. Alongside the golf there were charity auctions and raffles, lunch and much merriment,
Julian Margolin , KidsOut Chief Ambassador , was blown away by the response “We had a phenomenal turn,” said Julian. “The sun was shining and we saw some fantastic games of golf. It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves and having a wonderful time! Most importantly, we raised a brilliant amount of money for local disadvantaged children. I want to say a big thank you to all those who attended and were involved in the organisation. Your support has made a huge difference!”
The whole team at KidsOut would like to reiterate our thanks to all involved. Thank you also to Nick Child and the sponsors who helped to support the Essendon event. Finally, a big thank you to the staff at the Essendon Country Club for hosting this spectacular day.
