KidsOut is thrilled to announce that we have received 106 bikes from Team Tactics through their Build a Bike for Charity Scheme. These bikes have been a lifeline for children fleeing domestic abuse and those facing various challenges.

The bikes have been distributed to a wide range of recipients, including:

• Nine refuges
• Three services supporting children with special needs
• Two charities aiding children with mental health difficulties
• Two services for children who are victims of crime

A refuge worker shared the positive impact of the donations, stating, “All of the children in refuge have benefited from the bikes as they are available for all to use. They have also been used by some of the children to take into school for cycling lessons, which they wouldn’t have been able to participate in without the bikes. We have seen a number of children learning to cycle as a result of having the bikes available to them.”
